From 6 to 8 October 2026, the Asternova Vest team attended How to Web in Bucharest. Discussions with founders and investors focused on the growth of technology companies, Seed and Series A rounds, and co-investment opportunities.
The 2026 edition brought together over 3,000 participants, including more than 500 founders and 250 investors. The Investors Summit, held on the first day, convened LPs, GPs and angel investors with an active interest in Eastern Europe.
For founders: we want to understand the company, not just the conference pitch
Asternova Vest invests between €500,000 and €4 million at Seed and Series A stages in technology companies in Timiș, Arad, Hunedoara and Caraș-Severin.
At How to Web, we looked for teams that had moved beyond initial validation, were beginning to demonstrate traction and could clearly explain what they intended to achieve with their next funding round.
A ten-minute conversation at a conference can start the process. It is followed by analysis, discussions with the team and, where we see a fit, due diligence.
For investors: co-investments and future rounds
How to Web brought together funds investing from pre-seed through growth stages. We discussed how our investment strategies complement one another and the potential to invest together, both in rounds involving Asternova Vest and in subsequent rounds.
Understanding each fund’s mandate and investment criteria allows us to put forward relevant opportunities for investors and our portfolio companies.
How to Web 2026 is over. Sourcing continues.
You do not have to wait until the next How to Web to start a conversation with us.
